Was born in 1984 in Lviv, Ukraine. In 2004 she graduated from Trush Lviv State College of Decorative and Fine Arts., department of industrial graphs.  In 2010 she graduated from Lviv National Academy of Arts, department of monumental painting. Personal interests of the artist include easel, monumental and sacral paintings, philosophy of art and the study of ethnic culture. Artistic priorities of Nyshchuk are associative properties of artistic image, anthropocentric tendencies in art and synthesis of ancient and modern. Since 2001 the artist presents art projects and participates in group exhibitions in Ukraine and Poland. In her works Ulyana uses elements of Ukrainian folk culture, especially traditional engravings and icons on glass, that are often forgotten today, but so mature in their ingenious simplicity. Ulyana’s search is very vivid, intuitive, emotional, outlined by daring and dynamic movements of brush, saturated with vivid accents of colour, rich with unexpected compositional techniques, which gives original author’s “sounding” to the ancient universal motives of Christian culture.
