Artists Statement:

My entire body of work is an expression of deep longing for profound, metaphysical beauty. To capture it in the matter, I seek forms that can be intuitively perceived and universal at the same time. I want to enable a vibrant encounter of art with a viewer, which would not be limited by anyone’s cultural background.

Feeding on the thought of insightful in their sensibility artists with the philosophical disposition (including Klein, Kandinsky and Nowosielski), I realised that today there is no better means for direct touching various aspects of human spirituality than abstraction. I believe that abstraction creates the possibility of exploring areas that cannot be cognised purely by reason, even in times of scientific cognition.

The general idea of metaphysical abstraction allows of relevant to the contemporary times penetration of various spheres of immaterial reality. The main areas of metaphysical beauty, which I focus on in my work are: the relationship of sensuousness and eroticism with spirituality, the longing for the intangible and unknowable, silence and inner harmony.
